The Buncefield explosion, which took place in 2005, destroyed the majority of the Buncefield petrochemical facility in Hemel Hempstead and caused significant damage to the surrounding properties. Clarkebond was commissioned, in the immediate aftermath of the incident, to provide specialist blast damage and major incident management services including forensic investigation of damage, structural engineering, building surveying, detailed analysis and recommendations for repair strategies in addition to the inspection of various buildings at 250m to 2km radius from the incident.
Glen Owen, ICE East of England Regional Director, will be attending this meeting to answer any questions you may have about the ICE and what it does including membership, fellowship, member benefits, policy and anything else you want to know.
