About this event

The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 came into force on 6 April 2015, introducing a new role of Principal Designer and doing away with the CDM C, greater responsibility for the Client and widening the scope of works to include domestic work.

Dean Sykes will introduce the new Regulations, highlight the changes and talk about what they aim to achieve and how we will all be affected and how they are working 7 months in.

Dean is a Director at Hunt & Sykes Safety. He has worked as a CDM coordinator on various projects as well as being a safety consultant for a number of local Construction Contractors. He is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) as well as being a Registered Member of the Association of Project Safety. He is now carrying out the role and responsibilities of CDM Advisor to the Client and Principal Designer.
