Roger Veneables presents to ICE Hong Kong in February 2015
Roger Veneables presents to ICE Hong Kong in February 2015

About this event

CEEQUAL was created through a development project led by the Institution of Civil Engineers in the early 2000s. It provides a tool for project and contract teams to use to assess how well they have dealt with the environmental and social issues they face, and as well as a rating of that performance also provides, through a range of mechanisms, a significant influencer of the project outcomes. Roger’s talk will explain how these positive influences arise.

In addition, he will present his thoughts on the opportunities for increased use of CEEQUAL in Hong Kong as a means of improving sustainability through the application of best practice. There will be ample opportunity for questions and discussion afterwards.

For those wishing to attend who are unfamiliar with CEEQUAL, please visit www.ceequal.com for an overview of the scheme, what it is and how it works.

Priority will be given to ICE graduate and student members, on a first-come-first served basis. Successful applicants will be notified on or before 18 Nov 2015.
