This presentation considers the sustainable drainage system constructed at Clandeboye Primary School. It will review the design and construction process, and observations from the operation of the site.

Samuel Donaldson MEng CEng MICE

Samuel is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Project Manager specialising in the design and project management of civil infrastructure projects. He is experienced in the design, planning, procurement and control of projects and has a thorough knowledge of regulatory and planning procedures. Samuel has placed sustainability as a core objective of all his projects and seeks opportunities to implement sustainable drainage designs where possible.

Samuel was the winner of the 2014 Institution Medal for his paper on Phase 1 of the Bangor Drainage Area Plan.

Ross Currie

Ross is in his final year at Ulster University studying BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering. He completed his placement with BSG Civil Engineering Ltd from July 2017 to September 2018 and continues to work part-time with BSG alongside his studies.

Ross has worked on a range of schemes for NI Water including Clandeboye RWHG, Killaney and Millisle WwPS, Sample Tap Replacement Scheme Quoile Crescent Sewer Rehab and the Service Reservoir Security Upgrade Scheme during his time with BSG.
