Collaboration, development and sustainable legacy, Weymouth

About this event

Our first collaboration conference will include presentations featuring best practice in partnership working, looking at past projects, future initiatives and developments and reflecting on the work of one of our influential regional civil engineers.

The event will be held in memory of the late Nick Lyness CEng FICE, past ICE South West Chair (2010/11) and a keen supporter of successful collaboration within civil engineering.

Delegates will benefit from presentations such as 'The value of data, quality and consistency' and 'Climate Change and designing for the future', as well as case studies from projects showcasing successful team working.

There will be significant representatives from public sector organisations such as local and regional councils, Network Rail, Environment Agency and other invited guests, providing the perfect opportunity to network and communicate the importance of partnership working and collaboration with the client.

This event may be suitable as CPD for the following attributes: 3 Management & Leadership, 4 Independent Judgement & Responsibility, 7 Sustainable Development and 8 Interpersonal Skills & Communication.
