About this event

Communication skills are just as important for engineers as their technical ability. This Masterclass will give real case studies practical examples and techniques to help your projects succeed.

Speakers include Chris Waite who will share learning from the Forth Road Bridge closure and the value of, particularly, social media. ICE's Director of Engineering Knowledge Nathan Baker will talk about delivering innovation through learning. Marketing and business development specialist Keith Fisken from South East Scotland Regional Transport Partnership will also input. The event will illustrate the power of using an effective and appropriate media mix and good communication in achieving the crucial imperative of engaging your target audience on strategic messages.

Event includes morning refreshments and a two-course lunch.

Registration from 9.00am for a 9.30am start.
