About this event

Science Central is an ambitious development combining cutting-edge architecture, new public spaces, the world-renowned scientific expertise of Newcastle University and leading-edge businesses.

This conference will deliver an insight into a number of aspects of the Science Central project from the different forms of funding through to the enabling works and the sustainable technology at the heart of the project.

Leading professionals and academics will deliver inspiring presentations that will take you inside one of the biggest engineering projects in the region including topics of:

  • funding
  • brown field regeneration
  • sustainability in design and construction
  • the future of infrastructure projects

This exciting conference will be introduced by ICE Director General Nick Baveystock and will feature presentations to provide 6.5 hours of targeted CPD to help all attendees satisfy specific elements of ICE initial professional development.
