About this event

BAM Nuttall has just celebrated its 150th year making it possibly the oldest tunnelling contractor in the World. The company has a track record of constructing some of the most challenging tunnelling contracts around the world.

London is often cited as the cradle and capital of world tunnelling with projects running from Trevithick's early attempts at crossing the River Thames through to the most recent Crossrail Project.

Ivor Thomas, BAM Nuttall's Tunnel Manager, will talk through some of the more exciting challenges that have been overcome in underground railway construction in London by BAM Nuttall in the last five years.
