About this event

The summit offers a unique opportunity for the construction industry to make the Government aware of the challenges the sector faces and the significant impact it has on the regional and national economy.

With construction output worth £30bn in the North West alone up to 2018, this year's Construction Summit will address the key issues of growth, procurement, innovation, skills and training, set against a backdrop of greater devolution of powers for the city region.

The promise of devolved powers to the North means it is increasingly important to enable Northern businesses to have an outlet to understand how and where the policy that is being made affects them and how they, in turn, can affect policy.

The event will be truly interactive with delegates being able to vote live on various issues during the summit to fully inform the debates.

Construction Summit 2015 is organised by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce; ICE North West is a summit partner.
