About this event

The project is split into 4 sites each with its own unique engineering challenges. This event will include a presentation from the project manager discussing the construction of an earth reinforced retaining wall, king post retaining wall, ground contamination and remediation.

The client will deliver a presentation on the contractual and commercial arrangements on the project – specifically the allocation of risk and collaboration between client and contractor.

Following the presentations we will make a site visit to the Bentley Mill Way work area. The operation currently underway is the lowering of an existing road beneath a 200 year old brick aqueduct on the Walsall Canal using precast L-shaped concrete units.

Please bring full PPE (hard hat, gloves, hi-vis jacket and safety boots) as it will not be provided on the day. Tea and coffee will be provided.

This event may contribute to ICE Development Objectives. Booking is required as number of attendees is limited.
