Speakers will share their specialist knowledge and experience giving attendees a deeper understanding of the particular ICE attributes and how to achieve them.

Following the same format as for the earlier sessions which ran in November. The seminars will take place on two consecutive Tuesdays in April, and will involve a presentation delivered by the specialist speakers followed by a discussion, debate or interactive workshop.

Attribute 3: Management and Leadership
Speaker: Josie Rothera CEng MICE, Senior Lecturer, Leeds Beckett University

Attribute 7: Sustainable Development
Speaker: Dr Catherine Bale, Senior Research Fellow, University of Leeds

Attribute 9: Professional Commitment
Speaker: Nicholas Smith CEng MICE, Associate Director – Water Engineering Team Leader, Aecom

Session B: Tuesday 26 April 2016, 18.00-20.30

Attribute 2: Technical and Practical Application of Engineering
Speaker: John B Garland, Business Development Manager, Roger Bullivant Limited.

Attribute 4: Independent Judgement and Responsibility
Speaker: Iain Green CEng MICE, Arcadis.

The seminars will be relevant to graduates in all roles and sectors, including designers, contractors, consultants, local authorities and central government. In addition, student members will also benefit from the sessions gaining exposure to new ideas and networking opportunities with recent graduates from their industry.

The cost will be £10+VAT for each session, or £15+VAT to attend both sessions. Refreshments provided.
