Digital Transformation - a brief overview, Gloucester

About this event

Cheltenham and Gloucester City Club invites you to an evening lecture commencing at 6:30 pm. We are meeting at 6pm for light refreshments and a networking opportunity. The Council Chamber is accessed from the rear of the main Shire Hall building, off the Councillors Car Park in Bearland. Go up the steps to the double doors. These will be open from 6pm.

This lecture is about what the future for our industry make look like and how we can accommodate the digital age in our businesses both in the short and long term. Some of the main areas that will be considered are people, process, technology and procurement.

Procurement will focus on Project 13 which was launched by the ICE and the Infrastructure Client Group (ICG) to improve the way high-performing infrastructure is delivered and managed.

The industry-wide change programme aims to deliver better outcomes for the public and customers of infrastructure, a more highly skilled, innovative workforce and lead to a more sustainable, productive construction industry.

An open discussion is welcomed towards the end to share experiences and thoughts.
