In this discussion Alan will look at the way the current argument for diversity in the workplace seems to be commonly positioned and ask if it is the best way to position it. He believes that it's important to develop 'the right' argument for any proposition, otherwise it can be disputed, discredited, lead us into false courses of action or become otherwise unsustainable – even if the proposition is in itself sound.
Alan will take a look at some of the published material on diversity that has appeared in the last few years, both in the accessible popular and less accessible academic domains.
