Alanna Cooper BSc (Hons) CEnv CSci MCIEEM MCIWEM

Alanna Cooper

Alanna Cooper is Technical Director of Ecology at MLM. She is a Chartered Environmentalist and Chartered Scientist with over 16 years’ experience working in environmental consultancy in the UK.

Alanna has experience in expert witness and Habitat Regulations Assessment, as well as major Environmental Impact Assessments and the provision of detailed documents to support planning applications for small and large projects. These include plans for habitat mitigation and translocation of protected species.

Her specialisms are bird surveys, detailed botanical surveys and the preparation of comprehensive ecological habitat creation/restoration and landscape management plans. She has been involved in a wide range of sectors including residential and commercial developments, flood defence repair schemes, rail schemes and land reclamation projects.

Alanna’s experience also covers surveys and management of invasive species, contaminated land and brownfield sites.
