Emerging Engineers Award 2018 – Yorkshire and Humber Regional Final, Leeds

About this event

ICE students, graduates and trainee technician members across the region submitted research and innovative work related to engineering projects and designs. The top three entries from our region will present their work at the regional final in Leeds, with questions from the judges and audience.

The three finalists are competing for a cash prize and their place in the national final. Those who attend will also have the opportunity to network with other Engineering professionals and enjoy complimentary refreshments.

The 3 finalists are as follow:

  • Samantha Tobin GMICE, Mott MacDonald - 'Asset recovery Programme'
  • Bharani Iyengar GMICE, M&D Foundations & Building services Limited - 'Sustainability through design in Piling Industry'
  • Fang Yang GMICE, AMEY - 'Bearing Monitoring and Maintenance Strategy of the Orwell Bridge'

Attending the final gives you a great chance to:

  • Learn about the latest developments in engineering
  • Test the finalist knowledge
  • Add to your continuing professional development (CPD) records.

The competition will start at 18.30 with refreshments from 18.00.
