About this event

The Emerging Engineers Award (formerly the Graduate and Student Papers Competition) aims to find the best graduate or student paper on any area of engineering design, research or practice. Papers have to be expertly presented and discussed as well as innovative and exceptionally written. Entering the award is excellent preparation for a viva or Professional Review.

Audience members are invited to attend the Yorkshire and Humber regional final. The event is free to attend, but online booking is required. Members and non-members welcome.

Prizes

Yorkshire and Humber's winner will receive £250, with £150 and £100 for second and third place respectively The winner of the national final receives £1500 and the Institution Medal.
