About this event

Entering the Emerging Engineers Award (EEA) gives you a great chance to:

  • Promote new ideas, research and best practice to the engineering community
  • Develop your self-marketing skills and confidence in public speaking
  • Improve your written and verbal skills to help you prepare for your Professional Review
  • Demonstrate your talent to the engineering community and peers
  • Add to your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record
  • Win cash prizes at the Regional Final

Entries should be based on your own work and can be adapted from university/employment research papers, project reports, quarterly employment reports, written exercises or Professional Review reports.

Entry details in brief:

  • Register your intent to submit a paper by Friday 17 March 2017
  • We'll confirm if you have been selected to progress to the final by Friday 24 March 2017
  • Our ICE North West final will be held on Wednesday 25 April 2017

The ICE North West Regional Final Prize is £250.

The winner will also be put forward for the national competition, held in London

To enter, you first need to fill out an EEA entry form and send it to natalie.allen@atkinsglobal.com by Friday 17 March 2017. If selected, you'll then be asked to send your full paper to through and will then participate in the North West regional final on 25 April 2017.
