Equality Impact Assessment in Major Projects: Principles, Practice and Case Studies, Peterborough

About this event

Equality impact assessments are being conducted by various departments and organisations on business functions, such as Human Resources or on policy proposals, such as Living Fund closure or NHS Citizen Programme. In the context of major projects and infrastructure programmes, Equality Impact Assessment and Equality Analysis are now increasingly being proactively considered and they are starting to influence project decisions.

Kripa Dwarakanath will share her experience working on major projects and programmes, including HS2 and New Tube for London (now Cooling the Tube). A major project also presents excellent opportunities to push for further action down the supply chain.
