About this event

The British Antarctic Survey (BAS) has appointed Ramboll UK as its Technical Advisor. The new state-of-the-art polar research vessel, RRS Sir David Attenborough is under construction and it is going to need somewhere to land when it arrives in Antarctica. Ramboll are working on several infrastructure projects in the Antarctic region to support this new, bigger, ship. The first is a new wharf at Rothera, BAS's largest Research Station and Antarctic hub.

In this meeting, William Brook-Hart, Helen Baker & Beccy Cusworth share their experiences of visiting Antarctica and the challenges they faced on the Rothera Wharf upgrade project.
