About this event

Stuart Guthrie is a Principal Engineer in the specialist Pavement Engineering division of Mouchel Consulting (now part of WSP Group). This is a joint lecture with the Institute of Asphalt Technology (IAT).

The FWD is primarily used to assess road pavements. Those pavements carry many types of transport, such as cars, HGV's, aircraft, and sometimes specialist vehicles such as loading equipment used in ports. The presentation will show how the FWD is used to assess those pavements and how the remaining life is assessed and how rehabilitation options are developed.

Registration from 5.45pm for a 6.15pm start.
