About this event

Peter Robery is Royal Academy of Engineering visiting Professor in Forensic Engineering at the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Birmingham. He has his own consultancy business investigating failure of infrastructure assets and materials.

Peter was formerly a technology Fellow in Concrete Materials with CH2M HILL (formerly Halcrow Group Ltd), specialising in concrete durability and asset management and repair strategies.

Peter will discuss the forensic examination of assets, including the preparation of expert witness information; he will use the explosion at Buncefield as one of his examples.
