India is overwhelmed with challenges associated with limited water supplies, climate change and rising population. We often hear of words like “conservation” and “reuse” as blanket solutions for India’s water woos. While such solutions exist- it is important to understand that “one size fits all” approach may not work as water is a “social” subject and needs to be driven holistically with all elements such as people, finance, regulations etc.
The presentation will use examples of global water conservation programs such as Orange County, California (OCWD), PUB Singapore and elaborate on “Key elements of Water Conservation Program” that could provide a way forward.
