About this event

Built on the history of Cornwall and foundations of mining, fishing and farming, Fugro Seacore has been the leader in bespoke engineering solutions for clients all over the globe. Bringing the combination of the marine expertise, leading ground investigation technology and innovative drilling & construction solutions to deliver some of the most challenging international projects. Luke Griffin (Contracts Manager) will share details of some of the more exciting projects that he has been fortunate enough to be involved with over the last 5 years.

About the speaker

Luke Griffin was born and raised in St Ives, Cornwall. Luke graduated with a first in civil engineering from Cardiff University in 2001. A fruitful beginning to his career with Costain Ltd. meant he was able to work in various sectors including highways, retail and water. This led Luke to achieve MICE & CEng. status in 2007, delivering challenging civil engineering projects up to £7m.

He joined Fugro Seacore in 2008 as a project manager and through another steep learning curve now manages a team of project managers jointly responsible for around £10-15m/yr. of marine geotechnical projects.
