Membership Development Officer ICE SEA
Theban is responsible to Implement ICE’s International Strategy (2020-2022) involving UK Engineering Council standards & quality within the South East Asia (SEA) region encompassing Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Philippines. He is the first point of contact for professional membership routes in the region and responsible to undertake membership development activities with organizations and government related sectors.
Theban’s role includes supervising and conducting regional events such as advice surgeries, continuous improvements, seminars on education, training, membership, process quality and improvements. He also manages the accreditation of ICE Approved Training Schemes, Mentor training agreements and reviews of regional trainees. Theban is involved in spearheading and developing the membership pipeline and strengthening the professional membership continuous improvement cycle across SEA. He works with ICE UK to explore potential for degree accreditation across SEA as well.
