Experience sharing in public consultation for infrastructure projects
Experience sharing in public consultation for infrastructure projects

About this event

In light of increasing public concerns on engineering projects in recent years, engineers are expected to handle public consultation and liaison in addition to technical challenges. However, there is no direct and explicit formula to achieve effective public consultation. This seminar will be a valuable opportunity for young engineers to get insights from an engineer who is experienced in public consultation.

Mr Lee Ping Kuen has organised and participated in many public consultation and community engagement activities of various infrastructure projects. In the seminar, he will talk about the process and technique in handling public consultation and community engagement exercises of infrastructure projects. He will also share his experience in holding and attending these activities.

Registration deadline: 3 December 2015

Capacity of the event is 120. Priority will be given to ICE graduate and student members, on a first-come-first-served basis. Successful applicants will be notified on or before 5 December 2015.
