About this event

Our local construction industry involves substantial expenditure, multi-layer sub-contracting as well as various procurement methods. Moreover there are many Chinese festive customs that involves offering presents and money in the local industry. These features can be incentives for corruption. Young members, who are new or about to join the industry, may not know where the line is.

ICE members are expected to practice ethics in their profession. Candidates sitting Chartered Professional Review will be assessed on exercising in an ethical manner in one of the nine attributes.

Are you confident if you need to deal with dilemma in practice? Are you confident of exercising responsibilities in an ethical manner?

A speaker from the Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre, Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) will give a seminar on professional ethics for the construction industry. Participants can also visit the ICAC Exhibition Hall and see some precious collections related to ICAC.
