ICE Graduates and Students: Contracts Lecture, Liverpool liverpool

About this event

A brief synopsis of the accountabilities of consultants and how professionals acting within these organisations should safeguard themselves against future liable action with respect to the work they produce. The event will be very useful for professionals who are new to construction contracts and contract law and for those who want to gain experience in contractual knowledge for their member attributes.

Based on his experience and using real life examples, Patrick Waterhouse will introduce the liabilities of consultants and how we avoid the pitfalls of getting caught up in legal issues.

Patrick has been an ICE Reviewer for 20 years and is the author of the ICE Publishing titles, “Initial Professional Reviews for Civil Engineers” and “Successful Professional Reviews for Civil Engineers”. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer and works as a Construction Adjudicator and Commercial Advisor.

Refreshments will be served from 18:00 for a meeting start of 18:30.

Organised by ICE North West Graduates and Students.
