G&S: Introduction to Level of Information Needed (LOIN), webinar

About this event

Please note that this webinar will be held from 24 March 2021, 19:00 – 20:30 HK time.

According to the Development Bureau Technical Circular 20/2020, Building Information Management (BIM) became mandatory in major government public works projects in 2018. With the introduction of new CIC BIM standards in Dec 2020, a stronger alignment of ISO 19650 is required to plan, implement and benchmark BIM through the Level Of Information Needed (LOIN).

This webinar, presented by Mr Andy Chan, will introduce the requirements and principles of ISO19650. Mr Chan will also elaborate on the process and pitfalls encountered when implementing BIM with LOIN.

  • Registration will be confirmed on first-come-first-served basis, and priority will be given to ICE graduate and student members.
  • Only successful applicants will receive confirmation e-mail.
  • Attendance certificates will be provided for this event only if attendees attend the whole event.
  • Applicants with no-show records will be given lower priority in future G&S events.
