Hilti seminar - Anchor theory, principles and design - Poole

About this event

Why use an undercutting anchor as opposed to a resin system, how are loads transferred into the base material and how can you determine basic anchor capacities using manufacturers published data?

Our seminar on Anchor Theory will give you the answers! Our speakers will bring a wide range of anchors and have a talk about how they work and your experience with them.

At the end of this session, you will have a better understanding of anchors in general and what needs to be taken care of, from design to installation on site.

Gauthier Mahe

Gauthier Mahe - I am a project engineer working for Hilti for more than a year. I work mainly in the South West and assist engineers and architects in their projects. As part of the engineering team I am involved in the design stage with engineers and on site with contractors which gives a good overview of the industry's challenges when it comes to our fixings.

Originally from France, I started studying Civil Engineering in Rennes before continuing in Denmark to get a Master's degree in Structural and Civil Engineering. I have worked for Vinci Construction in France and MTHojgaard in Denmark on structural and railway projects.
