ICE HKA Annual Conference 2021: Infrastructure Development for Post-COVID-19 era, Hong Kong

About this event

The recent COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted not only people's health worldwide but also the social and economic developments of all nations. The current crisis is forcing all sectors in the society to rapidly adapt to working more innovatively with new technologies. Civil engineers and the construction industry as a whole are no exception but have to exploit opportunities to work smarter in delivering our professional services for the planning, design and construction of infrastructure projects.

On the other hand, the pandemic is also a catalyst for reinventing infrastructure developments to cater for the changing needs of people. Last but not least, new infrastructure investment is a good stimulus for economic recovery. But, the challenges are also huge. This conference therefore aims at helping civil engineers and other practitioners in the construction industry to rise to the new challenges in the implementation of infrastructure developments for the post-COVID-19 era.
