Using controlled attacks to improve cyber security.
Using controlled attacks to improve cyber security.

About this event

The financial services industry is among the most heavily targeted sectors by cyber criminals. In order to better defend against these unrelenting and increasingly malicious attacks, financial institutions must continually strive to understand these threats and the criminal minds behind them.

This talk is based on controlled attacks performed on organisations and highlights the need for the ever increasing need for technical security controls and security awareness. Why are monitoring solutions failing? What leads to complete compromise of a network?

Our two presenters David Cash and Julian Storr, consultants at NCC Group, will explain why monitoring solutions are failing and when incorrect assumptions can result in the compromise of a network and lots more.

Attendance is free of charge. Buffet and networking from 19.00, presentations at 19.30.
