Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and their Applications to the Energy Mix, Abergele

About this event

What is all the fuss about Hydrogen? Can it save the World?

Alternative fuels have been spoken about for years and one of the best has been Hydrogen. The most abundant element in the Universe surely it is the answer to everyone’s prayers.

Why has it not happened or is it happening? Could farmers run their vehicles on fuel made on their farm from rainwater and sunlight? Could it create a new income stream or reduce expenses for farmers and many other local businesses in Wales?

Are there any Hydrogen powered vehicles available or can we convert existing vehicles?  All of these questions and more will be answered by Dr Marc Stanton, the Commercial Director of Clean Power Solutions Group Ltd.

The lecture will start at 6.30pm – refreshments will be served at 6.00pm.

Dr Stanton has degrees in a multitude of subjects and lectures around the world about renewable energy. Whilst still working as a university lecturer he started the renewable energy company, Clean Power Solutions as a hobby. It is now one of the leading renewable energy companies in the UK.

As part of his interest in developing uses for renewable energy, Dr Stanton and Clean Power Solutions developed the World’s only small-scale, Self-contained, Hydrogen vehicle refuelling station. This system is contained within a 20 foot shipping container and uses rainwater and renewable energy to create free Hydrogen vehicle fuel for use in a company’s own vehicles.
