About this event

Nigel Overton, Curator for Plymouth City Museum and Nick Ely, Area Coastal Engineer for the Environment Agency, will provide an engaging commentary exploring the city's historic waterfront.

Discover the history of Plymouth's coastline featuring iconic city structures such as the Citadel, Plymouth Breakwater, Smeaton's Tower, Royal William Yard, the Dockyard, the Royal Albert Bridge and Tamar Crossings.

This family friendly event is open to all those interested in the city, offering an opportunity to discover how civil engineers have shaped the history and future of Plymouth.

Cost: £10 + VAT (£12) for adults including refreshments.
