About this event

Online registration for this event is now closed. If you wish to attend please call the ICE Events Team on +44 (0)20 7665 2226.

On 10 November, ICE will provide a platform for engineers, asset owners and operators to discuss, exchange views and come to conclusions on what is most important for the future of the UK's transport and infrastructure assets.

The conference will look at the blend of innovation, collaboration and engagement practices the industry needs to apply to ensure that infrastructure assets thrive in the next 10 years.

Each asset has its own specialised needs and conditions. Engineers, who are maintaining, renovating and extending the life-cycle of assets, all need the knowledge and skills, which are going to be examined in detail in the four conference streams:

  • Whole-life Approach in Practice
  • Managing People, Managing Assets
  • Personal Development in Asset Management
  • Best Business Practices

The event offers an opportunity to meet with senior industry representatives from across the spectrum and share case studies and lessons learnt.

Delegates will develop a clear and concise understanding of asset management strategies and learn how to make most of investments by reducing cost and increasing the life-cycle of assets.

The embracing of asset management principles and philosophy will serve as a good basis for delivering a consistent, robust approach. This is particularly true for our roads, railways and other transport infrastructure and consequently the conference programme will focus heavily on these sectors.
