ICE BIM 2016 will focus on projects and case studies showcasing best practice of Level 2, combined with in-depth guidance and analysis through dedicated workshops and panel discussions on implementing digital excellence.

Delegates will:

  • Hear 20+ industry expert presentations
  • Engage in interactive panel discussions aiming to foster collaboration and drive digital innovation and interoperability
  • Follow one of three sector-specific streams and hear from peers who have efficiently implemented BIM
  • Take part in a thought leadership discussion on making BIM Level 2 ‘Business as Usual’ by 2020
  • Choose from six dedicated workshops on how to take full advantage of BIM’s tangible benefits
  • Network with infrastructure and engineering professionals, sharing knowledge and gaining a better understanding on how cross-country collaboration can benefit all

In the morning, delegates will tailor their conference experience by joining sector specific streams:

  • Roads, featuring presentations from Highways England, Carillion and Transport Scotland
  • Water and Energy, showcasing the progress made by Yorkshire Water, CH2M, Welsh Water and Balfour Beatty
  • Rail with sessions by Crossrail, Transport Scotland and Mott MacDonald

In the afternoon, you can attend the plenary conference session, or select one of six highly focussed workshops. Delivered by the UK BIM Alliance, these offer peer to peer learning, options for support and a chance to shape the agenda for the next five years:

  • Workshop Two: BIM for Public Sector Clients
  • Workshop Three: BIM for Private Sector Clients
  • Workshop Four: BIM for Designers/Consultants
  • Workshop Five: BIM for Contractors/Tier 1’s
