Great Britain experienced devastating flooding again this Winter, falling victim to blocked roads, collapsed bridges and homes being evacuated.

As a result Government announced an extra £700m in flood defence funding, in addition to the £2.3bn of planned spending up to 2021.

As an industry, civil engineers are uniquely placed to use this opportunity to instigate change.

For this purpose ICE Flooding 2016 will bring together asset owners and the UK flooding supply chain to; discuss new and existing strategy, examine best practise case studies and how these are being delivered, review catchment-wide approaches to managing water, look at risk management for critical infrastructure, and much more.

ICE Flooding is established as a key annual event for senior level individuals from across the supply chain including Government, contractors, consultancies, local authorities, water companies and solution providers. Secure your place amongst them today.

The 2016 conference will again be chaired by ICE’s immediate Past President and flooding expert David Balmforth.
