MTR is one of the finest metro systems in the world and delivers a safe and reliable train service with punctuality of over 99.9% consistently. MTR carries over 5.4 million passengers per weekday in Hong Kong.

In the last decade, MTR has successfully developed its railway operations in Mainland of China and internationally. Now, MTR operates railway in Beijing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, London, Stockholm and Melbourne, and is constructing an extension of the metro system in Sydney.

Totally, MTR carries over 4.8 million passengers per weekday outside of Hong Kong. In all these operations, MTR has substantially improved the train service performance and customer satisfaction.

The talk will give an overview on MTR and its journey of growing businesses outside of Hong Kong. It will also elaborate the approach how MTR transforms these operations and builds MTR to become a Hong Kong brand globally.
