About this event

The event will cover the various routes to membership and the changes made in 2015. It will cover Initial Professional Development (IPD) giving details of the pitfalls to avoid and useful hints and tips for success.

Finally it will highlight opportunities for membership support and IPD development during 2016.
There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask your own questions regarding your own development.

The event will be particularly suitable for Graduate and Student member's but will also benefit other members involved with the development and mentoring of others.

Michelle Cockburn ICE Membership Manager Wales and the South West

Michelle has been with the ICE since January 2015 as Membership Manager for Wales and the South West of England. She is responsible for delivery of the strategy and initiatives to support members in their quest for membership and professional qualification, increasing active membership across the two regions and providing direct member development support for the south west from Cornwall up to Somerset/Dorset, Bristol and the Channel Islands.

Prior to this she worked for nearly 25 years at a water and sewerage utility company, liaising with engineering teams on policy, problem resolution with customers and delivery of customer initiatives/research. Michelle is a member of the Market Research Society, Chartered Management Institute and Customer Service Institute. When not working, she enjoys horse riding, dog training and fly fishing.
