The Chairman and Committee of ICE Yorkshire and Humber would like to invite all regional members to our Annual General Meeting 2018.
There are also five vacancies to be filled on our Regional Committee including Junior Vice Chair and Secretary.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill these vacancies and join the ICE Yorkshire and Humber Committee, responsible for delivering ICE's business plan in the region.
Nominations (including self-nomination) are invited for election to these vacancies. Candidates for election to the committee should be professionally qualified (Eng Tech, IEng or CEng) members of the Institution and should be proposed by two professionally qualified members. Nominations should be sent to the Honorary Secretary firstname.lastname@example.org in writing no later than 10 June 2018, together with the written consent and particulars of the candidate.
No voting member may nominate more than one candidate. If the number of nominees exceeds the number of vacancies, election will by means of voting at the Annual General Meeting.
The meeting will then be followed by a celebration event for members to mark 200 years of the ICE.
