About this event

Over the past 15 months, ICE has been leading a cross industry group to produce the first NNA for UK infrastructure.

Grounded in detailed modelling conducted by the University of Oxford, the NNA identifies drivers of future change in infrastructure networks to 2050, including economic and population growth, technology and climate change.

It then identifies the steps that are needed for a national infrastructure system that is efficient, affordable and sustainable.

ICE has also been leading an industry coalition to ensure that the government understands, and acts on, the biggest challenges for infrastructure and construction created by the vote to leave the European Union.

Speaker - Andrew Crudgington, ICE’s Director External Affairs and Strategy.

Organised by Manchester Branch and ICE North West Graduates and Students.

Hosted by Dr. Domenico Lombardi, Lecturer in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Manchester.

Refreshments and networking: from 5.45pm for a meeting start of 6.30pm.
