About this event

This event will set out the funding trends covering the period 2009-2019 and outline the main transport-related announcements made by the Chancellor.

It will include an assessment of the implications of the announcements, including:

  • Whether the funding provided matches Government rhetoric about the importance of infrastructure in delivering growth.
  • Whether the record levels of road and rail capital investment can be delivered given the near 40% cut to programme spending.
  • The extent to which the regions will really benefit from the level of devolved funding provided; and
  • Whether PFI is back in vogue because of austerity?

We look forward to seeing you there - lunch will be provided.

We require that all attendees register for the event in advance (places are limited).
