About this event

The construction industry accounts for approximately 60% of materials use, and approximately 30% of waste arisings. Infrastructure is routinely being replaced with increasing examples of materials being reclaimed and reused. The old model of "take, make and dispose" is changing and the presentation will look at how we can all work together in identifying the resources contained in our infrastructure so that its value can be maximised and retained. Together through collaboration we can provide multiple benefits for the community and the environment.

Tea & coffee will be served in the Common Room at 6.30, before the lecture which starts at 6.55pm.

After the talk, a hot buffet will be served in the Refectory at 8.00pm
