The British Section of the Ingenieurs et Scientifiques de France (http://www.iesf.co.uk) is celebrating its 100th anniversary on 1 July 2019 with a Gala Dinner, hosted by the section’s Patron, Prof Lord Robert Mair, for members, their guests and VIP guests, during which the Sir Alcon Copisarow medal will be presented by Lady Diana Copisarow.

Prior to the Dinner, Humphrey Cadoux-Hudson CBE, Managing Director of Nuclear Development of EDF Energy, will deliver the IV Gustave Eiffel Lecture in the Telford Theatre (6.00 pm – 6.45 pm). He will focus on the importance of collaboration, communications and knowledge and will include personal examples through French and British joint engineering achievements and the challenges faced, both in Europe and together around the world.

A limited number of places are available for those wishing to attend the lecture only, or the lecture and gala dinner. We regret we are unable to offer catering facilities to those not joining us at the dinner.

Please use the online booking link for the lecture. If you would like further information about the dinner, please contact [email protected].
