Building failures are very much in the news at present with the on-going Edinburgh Schools enquiry and the Grenfell Tower disaster. This talk will cover the systematic aspects of failures in construction and what we need to learn from these failures for the future.

Stewart Macartney is a Director with Blyth & Blyth and was appointed as the engineering expert on Professor Cole's investigation into the Edinburgh Schools situation.
