About this event

Cyber Security is being discussed everywhere, with daily scare stories in the newspapers. However, it is often difficult for organisations and individuals to understand what are the basic steps to take to ensure they have reasonable security without spending lots of money.

Dr Emma Philpott, Director and CEO of the IASME Consortium Ltd (one of the four ‘Cyber Essentials’ accreditation bodies) and Jamie Randall, CTO of IASME, the Malvern-based organisation that manages the IASME information assurance standard will outline, in plain English, the basic steps every company should take.

They will also talk about the UK government’s Cyber Essentials certification, which is increasingly being mandated, and how to achieve it, if needed.
