About this event

The A160 Port of Immingham improvement scheme is a "pocket battleship" of a highways scheme. It has every element that you would expect in a highways upgrade and some other unique factors and challenges that separate it from standard scheme delivery.

As part of the accelerated delivery programme the scheme team hold the record for the fastest scheme of national significant infrastructure to come through the Development Consent Order process.

As an early adopter of BIM the team used the full range from 3D to 6D modelling to assist delivery, and undertook a significant civil engineering challenge to install a 4,000 tonne concrete bridge under the busiest freight rail line in the country in a 76 hour possession over Christmas Day and Boxing Day 2015.

This webinar will try and touch on all of the factors that make the project unique.
