About this event

Highways England, Skanska, Jacobs and Aecom are currently working together to improve the safety of the travelling public at the nationally important interchange between M1, A14 and M6.

The project included the design and construction of two new major overbridges along with a number of smaller structures, whilst maintaining traffic flowing within a tightly constrained site and a very busy interchange. This evening presentation will outline the evolution and challenges of the final design solution together with construction progress and techniques adopted as the project works towards completion in Autumn 2016.

The event is run jointly with the Institution of Structural Engineers. Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be served from 18.00, with the presentation starting at 18.30.
