Highways: How project delivery can be positively influenced by embracing a new way of working?
Highways: How project delivery can be positively influenced by embracing a new way of working?

About this event

For the most part, the focus of the industry on new technologies and BIM has been monopolised by 3D modelling, laser scanning, drone inspection and generally, on-site capability.

But, the technological advancements of recent years offer unique opportunities on a managerial level for increasing the efficiency of teams, improving collaboration and unlocking the potential for simplifying processes that, until now, have been rarely talked about.

The 2017 Management, Procurement and Law lecture will concentrate exactly on this pertinent issue:

  • What are the biggest benefits of utilising new technologies as a managerial tool?
  • What challenges do organisations face in introducing new technologies for management purposes?
  • How can this potential be unlocked and what will help/push organisations in introducing new technologies on managerial level?

Our two speakers will present on the new direction that Highways England is taking and how programme and project delivery can be positively influenced by what is happening off-site, by embracing a new way of working.
