The digital transformation is changing how we do business. Within the sector companies are focusing on applying digital tools and using technology to improve their workflows. However, what happens after this transitional period is over?

George Holder

George Holder

George is the Venture Partnerships Manager at Mott MacDonald, working within the Ventures team to grow the venturing business by connecting invested startups with the core business to realise value for our industry. George has over five years experience at the intersection of corporate finance, strategy and innovation and is comfortable with the cultural, commercial and technological aspects surrounding industry change.

Anita Soni

Anita Soni

Anita is a BIM Manager at Skanska Infrastructure UK. Anita has worked in the civil and infrastructure industry for 10 years. She has a Engineering Doctorate from University College London and industrial partner Network Rail. She examined the application of new technologies such as laser scanning and photogrammetry for non-contact monitoring of railway infrastructure to replace invasive and expensive traditional solutions.

She currently works on the HS2 Main Works Civils Project as part of the SCS JV (Skanska-Costain-STRABAG Joint Venture) as the As-Built BIM Manager, with a special interest in integrating survey information into BIM processes during the design and construction stages.

Stephen Herd

Stephen Herd

Stephen is a Chartered Engineer with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as a Piping Engineer in the oil & gas industry for an international contractor, working on the design and construction of major onshore processing facilities. Following this, he joined as a Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers's capital projects advisory team, with engagements ranging across government, real estate, utilities and infrastructure. He is currently the Product Manager for Nodes & Links, a deep-tech startup that develops AI algorithms for capital and infrastructure projects, bringing the power of data science to project professionals.

Stephen is a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
