Building on the launch of the NEC4 Suite of Contracts in June 2017, NEC is holding a breakfast briefing session to facilitate an open discussion on the topic of "The Pillars of NEC Collaboration – How to Promote and Achieve Successful Collaborative Outcomes".
The speakers will share with attendees how to make a NEC project successful with the input of collaborative working ethos, team building activities and change of people's mindset.
The breakfast briefings have received very positive feedback from participants who find the discussion topics timely and useful in helping them achieve projective objectives, as well as having the opportunity to share up-to-date industry information with peers.
Robert is an experienced construction professional, resident in Hong Kong since 1996. He has for the past 8 years specialized in procurement and contract administrative advice to Clients and Contractors primarily related to NEC Contracts.
Robert has since 2012 been a tutor conducting certified training workshops in NEC matters. He has conducted more than 50 half and full-day NEC training workshops. He is a regular speaker on NEC matters in Hong Kong.
He has acted as an NEC Project Manager, and also as an NEC advisor on live NEC projects in Hong Kong. Robert was the inaugural NEC Users Group secretary in 2009/10 and currently sits on the CIC Procurement Committee dealing with NEC issues including the publication of NEC Guidance Notes.
Robert is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors a Member of the Institute for Project Management and Accredited NEC Project Manager and an Accredited Mediator.
